Here are some of the Smith Rock Photo's from the other day. Crazy, the things that are in our back yard here in Central Oregon. It seems too easy to stop exploring our surroundings, but when the effort is made the rewards are amazing. Smith Rock was formed from an eruption. The Volcanic dust settled a half a mile thick, and over time hardened and eroded to make Smith Rock. Gorgeous!!! So there is a bit of what I learned on my field trip to Smith Rock.
